Fruitful Eastbourne was our first main project and was kindly funded by Eastbourne Borough Council community fund.
We aimed to reintroduce the heritage apple variety            'The Eastbourne Pippin' into public spaces as part of a low maintenance permaculture style 'guild' system with other fruit varieties, culinary herbs and pollinators.
We installed fruit tree guilds in 3 parks in Eastbourne. Gildredge Park, Shinewater Park and Archery Rec alongside raised planters containing herbs, pollinators and fruit. These are all growing well and establishing, the soft fruit is full of berries and the herbs are in constant use by residents and pollinators alike.
